The faded silhouette of the background shows the infinite dreams that one can have. Passive yet provocative gaze of the young LKY reminds us of how he stayed resolute and made tough decisions for the nation amidst naysayers. Challenges encountered such as racial disharmony and the lack of national identity in the early days subtly permeate through the intricate variations of the color tones. The dramatic spectrum diffracts into his older self. Indeed this represents how his life will unceasingly bring enlightenment to our nation.
